Access to quality education should never depend on location. Yet in many remote parts of Kenya, limited infrastructure continues to hold learners back. That’s why initiatives that combine innovation, partnership, and purpose are so critical.
In collaboration with Street Child Kenya and Fondation groupe EDF, we are proud to have successfully implemented a digital learning initiative that is already making a tangible impact. Two primary schools in Laikipia and Turkana have been equipped with tablets, opening up new pathways for interactive and engaging learning.
But providing devices is only part of the solution. To ensure long-term impact, the schools have also been solarized and electrified creating safe, reliable, and sustainable learning environments. This means that students and teachers can access digital tools consistently, regardless of power or connectivity challenges.
At the heart of this initiative is a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to build digital skills that will shape their future. By introducing technology at an early stage, we are not only enhancing classroom experiences but also laying the groundwork for digital literacy in communities that are often left behind.
What makes this effort truly powerful is the strength of collaboration. Partnerships like these demonstrate what is possible when organizations come together with a shared vision bridging gaps, overcoming barriers, and creating opportunities where they are needed most.
